Artist Maren Conrad's now iconic "Lady Bird" mural is on the cover of the August issue of Comstock's Magazine. The cover story is The Lady Bird Effect written by Torey Van Oot.
Maren Conrad, an artist from Elk Grove, designed the mural as part of the Wide Open Walls art project .
The "Lady Bird" mural is meant to pay tribute to the film's Sacramento setting, and to director Greta Gerwig's Sacramento roots. It is located at 16th and I Street.
