RedRover Helping Hundreds of Animals Displaced By Wildfires

posted by Kitty O'Neal -

RedRover, a national nonprofit animal welfare organization, is on the ground today to help North Valley Area Disaster Group (NVADG) provide daily care and comfort for up to 300 animals displaced by the Carr fire.

RedRover will send 12 RedRover Responders volunteers to help NVADG care for dogs and cats at the temporary shelter in Anderson, CA over the next seven days. The RedRover Responders volunteers are traveling from across Northern California to assist during this crisis.

Haven Humane Society has set up and is operating the temporary emergency animal shelter at Shasta Gateway Outlets, 1699 Highway 273, Anderson, CA (next to the Grocery Outlet and Mary’s Pizza).
