Thursday kicks off the 17th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival which runs through Monday (Jan 17-21) in the culturally rich foothill towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley.
The environmental and adventure film festival features 150 award winning films, activist workshops, speakers, art shows and outdoor excursions. This week the festival is welcoming filmmakers, world class athletes, environmental experts and activists who are making a difference in the environmental and social justice movements around the globe. The festival kicks off a tour nearly 250 locations this year.
