Rancho Cordova Residents Get Home Make Overs Courtesy of Local Non-Profit

13 Families Receive Free Home Makeovers in Rancho Cordova

Listen to the interview with Carrie Grip, Executive Director for Rebuilding Together Sacramento

From a fresh coat of paint to new appliances, and repaired fencing to electrical work, 13 families in the City of Rancho Cordova’s Aspen Creek, Cordova Lane and Walnutwood neighborhoods will undergo the ultimate home makeover! For the fifth year, the City of Rancho Cordova, Rebuilding Together Sacramento, and 400 volunteers are teaming up during National Rebuilding Month to provide home improvements and freshen up landscaping – all at no cost to the homeowners!

National Rebuilding Month is an annual month-long call to service to support safe and healthy homes, and the City of Rancho Cordova is joining in to support its residents! These families have pride in their neighborhood but don’t have the financial resources to make needed improvements. The event will beautify a local neighborhood and improve quality of life for residents. The program is supported by a $150,000 grant from the City’s Community Enhancement Fund.
