Shriner's Hospital Gives Teens a Fabulous Prom!!

On Saturday, June 15, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California will roll out the red carpet as it welcomes patients and their guests to its 3rd annual hospital promBilled asDeep Sea Dreams,the event takes place from 6 - 9 p.m.,in the hospital auditorium.Proud parents, friends and hospital staff will line the red carpet as the patients arrive for the prom -- a traditional rite of passage for teens. 

These patients, ages 16-19, many of whom were unable to attend their own high school proms due to hospitalization or physical challenges, will now enjoy the full prom experience. Some will dance with wheelchairs, some with walkers, and others with braces or artificial limbs especially designed for them at Shriners Hospital.

The prom is supported by services and donations of local businesses, including a local disc jockey who will orchestrate the dance.
