In partnership with Front Street Animal Shelter, the community (and their four-footed friends) are invited to a free “Dog Day at DOCO” event on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will take place in a special area set up on the Plaza complete with agility activities for pups adjacent to the new “dog relief station” available at DOCO. Animal lovers will also enjoy music provided by a local DJ, refreshing mimosas and champagne provided by Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar (for purchase by those aged 21 and over), and more. Plus, Fizz will donate 15 percent of the proceeds to support Front Street Animal Shelter.
Dedicated to caring for lost and abandoned animals in our community as well as providing a variety of protective services, Front Street Animal Shelter will be on-site with friendly and lovable dogs available for adoption and looking for their forever homes.
Centrally located in the heart of downtown Sacramento, DOCO was developed in partnership by JMA Ventures and the Sacramento Kings. The thriving outdoor plaza is a must-visit entertainment, shopping and lifestyle destination that showcases some of the very best the city has to offer in terms of retailers, bars, restaurants, office space and more. Guests can enjoy shopping at a fantastic mix of retailers, indulging at amazing restaurants, bars and eateries, and being part of engaging events and activities that help to make DOCO a dynamic community gathering place.
