Workshops being held in the East Sacramento and North Natomas Community Plan Areas
As part of the Sacramento 2040 General Plan Update, this summer the City is hosting workshops in each of the City’s 10 Community Plan Areas to hear from community members about local issues and priorities. Neighborhoods located in the East Sacramento Community Plan Area are invited to attend a workshop on Wednesday, July 24 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Clunie Center (located at 601 Alhambra Blvd). Neighborhoods located in the North Natomas Community Plan Area are invited to attend a workshop on Tuesday, July 30 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Heron School (located at 5151 Banfield Dr.).
Both meetings will begin with a brief presentation, followed by a group activity. Light food will be provided at these family-friendly events.
Your input will be used to update the East Sacramento and North Natomas Community Plans, which will identify and address local planning and community development issues specific to those areas of the city. The Community Plans describe a vision for Sacramento’s neighborhoods and guide City policy. There are a total of10 Community Plans, incorporated into the City’s General Plan. Join us to provide input needed to update your Community Plan.
