El Pollo Loco in Gilroy, CA donating proceeds from August 12 sales to families who lost loved ones in the Gilroy Garlic shooting and offering free meals to victims
El Pollo Loco to donate 100% of August 12 sales from 11am-9pm to victims’ families; additional donations are encouraged
On Sunday July 28th a man entered the Gilroy Garlic Festival and opened fire, killing 3 and injuring 12. El Pollo Loco, located at 6986 Chestnut St Gilroy, CA 95021, will donate 100% of proceeds from all purchases made between 11AM-9PM on Monday August 12th to the families of Stephen Romero, 6, Keyla Salazar, 13, and Trevor Irby, 25. El Pollo Loco will also accept additional donations by cash, card, or check and 100% of those donations will be split equally between the 3 families. We encourage the community to please donate more than the cost of their meal.
El Pollo Loco will also offer free meals to shooting victims. Victims should contact Brian Spongberg at 562-732-4645 or brian.spongberg@wksusa.com to receive meal vouchers.
