The Sacramento Kings, in partnership with Raley’s and Northern California Construction Training, unveiled the newest community ROOT Garden at Beale Air Force Base as part of the 18th Annual Season of Doing Good.
Representatives from both the Sacramento Kings and Raley’s were in attendance to help put the finishing touches on the garden, paint and plant flowers. The garden will serve those who live on the base, as plots are assigned to families who reside in Beale Air Force Base homes and marks the seventh ROOT Garden that has been planted in the Greater Sacramento community.
Following the garden unveiling, the Sacramento Kings held a Jr. Kings Clinic for the youth who live on the base.
