Friday, November 22 is Blue Friday to Support Law Enforcement Chaplaincy

Friday, Nov 22 is a Day of Thanks and Giving for Law Enforcement and the Charities Who Serve Them A strategic campaign designed to motivate a portion of traditional Black Friday spending to participating Law Enforcement charities including Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento.

The Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento is hosting BLUE FRIDAY GIVE in support of Northern California Law Enforcement officers and their families. Blue Friday Give, a direct donation “Hub” via https://www.facebook.com/BlueFridayGive/ and a text to give option (Text “BlueGive” to 51400) allowing individuals the opportunity to financially support law enforcement charities.

Funds will directly support Law Enforcement families in crisis (including injury, death, marriage and family counseling) through the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento. Law Enforcement Chaplains will be holding a Blessing of the Badges and a Blue Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, 1017 11th Street, Sacramento at 11:30am.

The community and businesses are invited to participate in BLUE FRIDAY by donating via the website or text option as well as, wearing blue, using blue light bulbs, tying blue ribbons and other expressions of support for law enforcement.
