The Holiday Home Tour of East Sacramento December 6-8

The Holiday Home Tour of East Sacramento, a popular holiday tradition benefitting Sacred Heart Parish School, kicks off Friday, December 6, and runs until Sunday, December 8. The tour draws some 5,500 patrons from all over Northern California and showcases historical homes with elaborate renovations, custom interior design and creative holiday décor to inspire the spirit of the season. 

Celebrating its 46th Anniversary, one of Northern California's most loved holiday home tours returns this year with five elegantly decorated homes in East Sacramento's historic Fabulous Forties neighborhood.

This popular tour has grown to include approximately 5,500 patrons from all over Northern California and beyond. The homes showcase elaborate renovation while preserving historic detail, custom interior design and creative holiday decor that is sure to ignite the spirit of the season. Homes on the tour this year range in style from a cottage, to a Colonial, to a brick Tudor full of East Sacramento charm.

This year the self-guided walking tour begins on 46th Street between M Street and Folsom Blvd and winds its way through East Sacramento ending on 41th Street between J Street and M Street. You may start at any home and the tour takes approximately two hours to complete depending on your pace. Participating home addresses and a neighborhood map is printed on the back of each ticket.

Following the tour, don't miss the beloved Holiday Cafe and Boutique at Sacred Heart Parish School. Our boutique is made up of local Northern California vendors selling traditional and unique holiday gifts and decorations. Refuel your tank with a variety of delicious sandwiches and salads or warm up with a hot and flavorful soup. Hot Mulled Cider, coffee, soft drinks, wine and beer are also served. This year we will also feature a Champagne bar on Friday and Saturday, 2pm to close and Sunday 11am to close, so come by enjoy a glass of bubbly! No ticket is required to visit the Holiday Boutique, Café, or Champagne bar.

You may use your ticket for a one-time admittance to each house any time during the home tour weekend. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event. Children over the age of one must have a ticket. Advance tickets can be purchased on-line or at a number of fine local retailers until Thursday night prior to the tour start. The Holiday Home Tour is a fundraiser that benefits Sacred Heart Parish School, and is organized by the parents of Sacred Heart Parish School. This event occurs rain or shine. All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $30 at SacredHeartHomeTour.com, or at Sacred Heart Parish School the day of the event for $35. In addition to supporting educational opportunities at Sacred Heart Parish School, funds from the 2019 tour will also be donated to the Mustard Seed School.
