The City of Sacramento’s Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment department (YPCE) soon will begin its 2020 seasonal hiring, with more than 500 temporary positions available starting this spring.
“Each year, Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment offers a variety of rewarding employment opportunities for both teens and adults looking for summer jobs,” saidMario Lara, director of Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment.“We are excited to welcome new members to our YPCE teams for the 2020 season.”
The City will host its 2020 Youth Job and Resource Fair 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 21 at City Hall (915 I St.). This annual event begins the summer staff recruitment within the Department of Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment and provides more information about these and other City seasonal positions.
