February 25 is World Spay Day at the State Capitol

World Spay Day annually aims to decrease stray pet populations by increasing awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering programs around the world.

In conjunction with World Spay Day, leaders from around California and adoptable pets will advocate for Governor Newsom’s $50 million budget proposal for Animal Shelter Funding – the “California for All Dogs and Cats” initiative – to save all adoptable or treatable dogs and cats in shelters
