Local 8th Grader Raises $1,000 for Roseville Police K-9's

Meet Ethan Blomquist. He attends Warren T Eich Middle School in east Roseville. As a part of the graduation requirements from “Eich” the eighth graders must participate in a community service project.

Ethan decided he wanted to raise funds to support the Roseville Police K9 program. Ethan is a dog lover and wanted to do something to support his local police department which is how he came up with the idea.

Initially Ethan tried to find community grants to support the K9’s. Those options didn’t materialize so he started a GoFundMe page where he encouraged his family and friends to make donations. The results lead to a $1000 check Ethan presented to our Roseville K9 Officers through the Foothills K9 Foundation.
