The Sacramento Region Community Foundation recently announced it has activated its emergency response fund, the Sacramento Region Disaster Fund, and seeded it with an initial investment to help quickly address acute funding challenges nonprofits in the capital area are encountering due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
The Foundation will deploy resources from its Fund to nonprofits working in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties in the coming weeks.
