Dale Carlson: Ticket to Dream Gives Laptops To Foster Kids to Finish School

Last week we put out a call to friends of Ticket to Dream knowing that foster youth were going to need emergency assistance in the coming weeks. You immediately answered the call and thanks to you,this week we sent over400 laptops to high school & college foster youth who find themselves in an online class setting without consistent computer access. They will now be able to keep up with their peers while learning from home.

We've also worked with 10 of our hardest hit charity partners to provide emergency assistance to aged-out foster youth who have no safety net and are currently experiencing reduced hours or closed businesses altogether. These youth will need support to prevent homelessness and hunger, pay bills, and for young parents the ability to work while their children are out of school.

But the need is still great.

We have only reached a fraction of the population we serve.
