A letter from Artistic Director Amy Siewert:
We are sincerely moved by the outpouring of support so many have shown us. To those of you who have found a moment of joy in our online videos, sent our dancers notes of support, or reached out with a donation: THANK YOU!
It is humbling to know so many careso deeply about us, that so many of you appreciate the transformative power of dance to uplift and heal.
Sacramento Ballet promises to stay close to you. Even from a distance.
We have more works we’re proud to share online, including the video below. It’s from our performance last spring of an audience favorite, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa'sWritten and Forgotten.
We’re also pleased to report our for the hundreds of aspiring young dancers we are training. We soon hope to expand our adult online classes as well.
A special thanks to our dancers and school faculty for keeping a candle burning to illuminate us all.
If you already have given a gift to the Ballet in this special time of need, thank you. If you have not, please consider doing so today.
Put simply, we need your help.
Every gift matters.
Now more than ever.
Together we can bring joy to our community and healing to us all.
p.s. The new CARES law allows taxpayers to take a charitable deduction of up to $300 off their taxes, even if you don't itemize. We both win!
