The Capital Region’s Chambers of Commerce are actively working together to support and advocate for the needs of their members to ensure business resiliency during the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19. Local chambers of commerce have come together to implement tools and resources to help businesses navigate the many complex resources available to them. In partnership with local chambers, the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (Metro Chamber) launched a Rapid Response web resource (www.rapidresponse.metrochamber.org) and a Rapid Response Business Triage Hotline(833-391-1919). These tools are a collaborative effort between local chambers to provide a go-to place for businesses impacted by COVID-19 to navigate the local, state, and federal resources available to them.
SACRAMENTO METRO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (Metro Chamber) advocates for and supports the inclusive economic prosperity of our Capital Region by leading efforts for business. The Carmichael Chamber of Commerce began on January 9, 1948. Originally called the La Fiesta District Chamber of Commerce, a small group of business owners had the task of helping the business community grow. With Edward Morgan as its first President, the Chamber became the voice and ears of the community, responsive to it ever-changing needs and concerns. A lot has changed in 69 years, but the Chamber continues to connect business with community.

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce has been advocating for funding on the state and federal level for 501c6. Given our own capacity, we have connected and shared resources with our members to assist them with this time, including to the work of the Metro Chamber and the CA Hispanic Chamber-SBDC connection. We also have kept up our networking through zoom meetups, calls, and social media, and kept them connected with one another. For us, it's an important part of our chamber and culture to that extra care and connection, and sense of belonging.

The Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce (SACC) is the largest ethnic chamber in the Sacramento region, dedicated to building sustainable communities through inclusive economic development opportunities. Founded in 2007, Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce has donated over $410,000 to local non-profits and by providing college scholarships in support of our mission to promote mentoring, guidance, and education, and to support programs that improve the quality of life of the LGBTQ community.
