Child Abuse Prevention Center is a statewide service, training, advocacy, and resource center dedicated to strengthening children, families, and communities. Our mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. We accomplish this by: implementing evidence-based practices and programs, collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners, providing training and technical assistance to build capacity, advocating for policies to strengthen children, families, and communities.

Eighteen Sacramento region nonprofits supported by 36 business coaches have invested four months in learning the components of an effective pitch to support their fundraising and awareness-building efforts. Typically, our cohort concludes with 10 finalists taking the stage on the floor of the Golden 1 Center in front of a live crowd of 1,000+ community members. This year, in our now socially distanced world, we are unveiling the results of their hard work via a video showcase. We ask that you watch, donate and share with your communities. Now more than ever, these nonprofit leaders who support some of our most vulnerable citizens need the support of our broader community, Child Abuse Prevention Center was one of this year’s top 10 finalists!
