The Sacramento River Train is officially opening its newest attraction –railbikes– on Friday, June 5th to the public!
The railbikes are the first of its kind in the Greater Sacramento area. The pedal-powered vehicles will meander through the region’s beautiful countryside, following social distancing guidelines and other safety requirements.

Departing from our new station in West Sacramento, a guide will lead you and a small group on about a 15-mile trip. All railbikes will have a generous gap in between to maintain safe distancing while you leisurely enjoy pedaling along the river and winding through local farms and orchards.
This trip is suited for riders of all skill levels. The railbikes include an optional motorized assist to help you up any grades, or simply to allow you take a breather during your ride. Riders are requested to show up 30 minutes before the ride for orientation.
Rate is $49.95 per bike, with room for two riders.
