This Saturday look for the big red barrels in Walmart and donate those school supplies!

Annual school supply drive more crucial than ever due to restrictions and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19

         Walmart shoppers can purchase school supplies online and in-store to help local families in need. At participating Walmart locations, The Salvation Army will place collection bins inside the store, but to maintain social distancing and to keep everyone as safe as possible, we will not have volunteers present.

 This year, more families need our help. Students, teachers and parents are heading into an unprecedented school year due to COVID-19. Many have been out of work and now schools may begin the academic year with distanced learning, putting additional strain on families. Our goal is to relieve a little bit of the burden those families face and give them hope for a successful school year. All donations will stay in the community in which they are given.
