Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) Honors Local Hero

Walmart, Keurig Dr Pepper and Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF) honored one of our nation’s combat-wounded heroes, Former U.S. Army Specialist Arthur Harris Jr., at a local Walmart where he will be recognized for his service and sacrifice to our country. Harris was presented with the key to a 100% payment-free vehicle. The vehicle was generously sponsored by Walmart and Keurig Dr Pepper through Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transporation4Heroes program. In addition to the vehicle, MWSF will provide the Harris family with one year of family and financial mentorship sponsored by Keurig Dr. Pepper and their retail partner Walmart.

Former U.S. Army Specialist Arthur Harris Jr. was born and raised in California and joined the U.S. Army at the age 18 to serve from 1998 to 2004. Specialist Harris served in Iraq, Egypt, Thailand, and Fort Polk, Louisiana. He was also a member of the Army Track and Field Team. At the age of 20, he was select to attend the Audie Murphy Board, one of the highest honors given to an NCO. Harris is the recipient of a Combat Infantryman Badge, Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal, (4X) Army Achievement Medals, (2X) Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal. He lives in Stockton, California, with his three daughters.
