New Maren Conrad Mural on WEAVE Building Celebrates 19th Amendment

Listen: Maren Conrad and Mary Daffin. A new, interactive mural by local muralist, Maren Conrad, is celebrating 100 years of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote at 19th and K in Sacramento.

The mural, entitled “I Vote, " wraps around the entire building of WEAVE (When Everyone Acts Violence Ends) - a fitting location as this local non-profit helps women and children in need. Also fitting, WEAVE is located on 19th street in Midtown Sacramento - a perfect tie in to the mural's 19th amendment theme.
