Paratransit Inc., which works with Great Plates Delivered and the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services to help seniors sheltering in place during COVID-19, was inspired to create a new means to help spread cheer during the holiday season and created "Riding for Tidings" to collect items that will bring warmth and coziness into the homes of local seniors who may be experiencing feelings of isolation.
- Donations are being accepted now until 11/30 at 2501 Florin Rd, Sacramento...Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and at partner sites (which can be found at ridingfortidings.org.
- Donations can be sent in, just put "ATTN. Riding for Tidings" under Paratransit's address.
