Sacramento, California’s State Capital, is filled with history, vibrant landmarks, museums, culture and farm-to-fork restaurants with local craft beer and wine. Considered to have a Mediterranean climate characterized by mild winters and dry summers, Sacramento offers ideal weather conditions for endurance athletes making for a vibrant, active community.

With course announcements soon to come, participants can expect a down-river swim, a scenic bike through the agricultural landscape and a beautiful run, ending with a memorable downtown finish line. For athletes on the hunt for a personal record, IRONMAN California will redefine what it means to carry speed out on the course.
