Sacramento’s Rebuilding Together Peninsula Receives $140,000 Community Grant

Sacramento is one of eleven neighborhoods across the US who were awarded National Neighborhood Promise® grants ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 from the charitable arm of Republic Services, the second largest waste and recycling collection agency. The grants will fund neighborhood revitalization projects around the country in communities where Republic Services customers and employees live and work. The majority of this year's projects support historically Black neighborhoods that have experienced disinvestment, and many of them address food insecurity.

Rebuilding Together Sacramento (RTS) based in Sacramento, CA is one of the recipients of the grants.
