According to a new Pew Research Center survey, 71% of workers are doing their job from home all or most of the time currently. And more than half say, given a choice, they would want to keep working from home even after the pandemic. But before anyone takes advantage of being able to work remotely, they should consider how it could impact their employee benefits.
As states continue to lift COVID restrictions, companies will have to solidify their WFH plans and employees working remotely will fall under different laws and regulations than office employees. So, if someone opts to leave behind an office job in one city to live and work in another, they could find their benefits changed as well.
