To celebrate National Lost Dog and Cat Awareness Day, the Front Street Animal Shelter will start using facial recognition technology to help reunite lost pets with their families.
On April 23rd, National Lost Dog and Cat Awareness Day, Front Street Animal Shelter is proudly joining forces with Petco Love, formerly known as the Petco Foundation, a national non-profit working to lead and inspire change for animals, and animal welfare groups across the country, on a shared mission to help reunite lost pets with their families should they ever go missing.
Anyone who loses a pet can upload their picture at www.petcolovelost.org, or make a profile for their pet so they’re automatically protected should they ever go missing.
