Rancho Cordova's Independence Day Events July 3-4

Listen: Shelly Blanchard, Executive Director, Cordova Community Council

The City of Rancho Cordova will honor the founding of our nation and our city’s 18th birthday with 20,000 of its closest friends at its two-day Fourth of July Celebration on July 3rd and 4th. This year’s event is particularly special as Rancho Cordova is one of the only cities in the region to host Fourth of July festivities as California reopens.

Two nights of music and fireworks. Tickets just $5

The City of Rancho Cordova is a vibrant community that values its strong military history and the many veterans who choose to call it home. We have been celebrating the Fourth of July with a parade and festivities for 36 years. The mile run and fireworks shows are a nod to Rancho Cordova being named an All-America City for the second time in 2019, a prestigious award given by the National Civic League. The city is an annual sponsor of the Fourth of July event, and the mile run and Youth Band Competition wouldn't be possible without a grant from the City of Rancho Cordova's Community Enhancement Fund.
