31st Annual Chalk it Up! Festival is Back Labor Day Weekend at Fremont Park

CHALK IT UP! CHALK ART & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Since 1991, the Chalk It Up! Festival has been delivering fantastic family fun and has become one of the longest-running and most popular festivals in the Sacramento region. In recent years our three-day Chalk It Up! Festival has amassed crowds of over 60,000 people who come to enjoy the hundreds of sidewalk chalk art masterpieces, live music, vendors, and more.

Kitty's band Skyler's Pool has played at the festival for 5 years and they play this Labor Day, Monday September 6 at from 1:45 to 2:15 pm.

The Chalk It Up Grant Program provides funding for educational arts or nonprofit organizations that provide or support arts education and training programs benefiting Sacramento region youth. This grant is open to all organizations and groups that have demonstrated a need for funding and a commitment to the arts. This year a grant supports art for Afghan refugee children.
