Listen; Randi McClain. The 2021 Operation Dress Code kicks-off in Sacramento this week with a clothing drive reception on Wednesday, September 22 from 5-7 p.m. The event is designed to help empower women veterans by providing them with the professional clothing they need to successfully transition to civilian careers.
From today until September 29, pink Dress Code collection bins will be positioned throughout the Sacramento area where supporters can drop off new or gently used professional clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories and handbags.
The donations will then be distributed to women veterans at a special Dress Code Boutique Day on Saturday, October 9, where the women will receive a free and personalized shopping experience. The event is designed to empower women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and help them pursue civilian careers with the confidence they deserve and respect they’ve earned.
