Listen: Save Them All Horse Rescue, a nonprofit in Elk Grove, rescues/ rehabs abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted horses. The president and founder, Vicki Greene, has an interesting back story and is very passionate about helping animals in need.. An auction goes through Nov 12 to raise money for the cause with some great items especially for wine and horse lovers.
Items include private barrel tasting for 8 at Crystal Basin Cellars, a Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro, chocolate port dessert wine set and lots of other wine, home decor, spa baskets and gift certificates for dining and bakeries. For horse lovers, items include dressage boots, bodywork, custom Amish handmade bridle, equine teeth floating, riding lessons, horse food and treats, Mustang Balance training system and a jumping set.
