Starting on Giving Tuesday, from November 30 through December 31, Wells Fargo will match every dollar donated to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento through a $100,000 matching funds commitment to the local Habitat for Humanity “Home for the Holidays” campaign.
Habitat hopes to raise $100,000 through community donations which, coupled with the dollar-for-dollar Wells Fargo matching funds, would raise $200,000 in operational funding to support critical efforts like continued construction on Habitat’s 13-home Mandolin Estates project, increasing home repairs for low-income homeowners (primarily seniors and veterans), and breaking ground on phase 1 of Habitat’s highly anticipated Cornerstone Development – a collaborative development between Habitat and Mutual Housing that will provide affordable housing to over 400 low-income individuals.
