The Salvation Army Accepting Donated Women's Clothing

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is collecting clothing for our Women of Hope Closet. The closet provides clothing to women at the Center of Hope shelter and the Transitional Living apartments.

The Closet needs women’s clean, gently used, updated and fashionable clothing of all sizes. Large sizes from XL to 5X are always in high demand. Many women have recently requested warm jackets. Frequent items that are needed throughout the year are sweaters, nice jeans, and sweatpants. Other types of items that can be donated are shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, casual pants, dress pants, belts, light weight jackets, blazers, scarves, casual shoes, dress shoes and boots.

Items can be delivered to Family Services or dropped at The Salvation Army’s Headquarters at 3755 North Freeway Boulevard. We ask that donations be put in a bag and labeled with “Women of Hope Closet” on the outside. We can also arrange for a Women’s Auxiliary member to pick up donations.
