We are kicking off the Big Day of Giving with its Annual Appreciation Event. This year, the event will be a breakfast at the Double Tree Hotel, located at 2001 Point W Way in Sacramento. The guest of honor will be Bill Martin, retired CEO and President of Bank of Sacramento. Mr. Martin is also a longtime Salvation Army of Sacramento Advisory Board Member. As a thank you for his decades of service to the community, Bill Martin will be honored with the Spirit of Caring Award. Past recipients of this prestigious award include Tri Counties Bank and the bank’s Senior Vice President and Chief Community Banking Officer Scot Robertson, SMUD, and the late Joyce Raley Teel. Tickets and sponsorships are still available for the breakfast when you click the button below. The Salvation Army will also broadcast the “Spirit of Caring” Award Ceremony and provide a State of Services in Sacramento County address live on Facebook.com/deloro beginning at 8:00 a.m.
