Crooked Lane Brewing Company received a gold medal for its Belgian Blonde Ale at the 2022 World Beer Cup.
The Auburn-based brewery’s “Belgian Blonde Ale,” which received the top honor in the beer category of the same name, is a drinkable ale with very subtle notes of banana, apple, pear, and bright, spicy hop flavors.
According to the Brewers Association, this year’s World Beer Cup competition was its largest to-date, with more than 10,000 entries from nearly 2,500 breweries from 57 different countries. The awards ceremony took place at the Craft Brewers Conference in Minneapolis, MN on May 5, where Crooked Lane’s Teresa Psuty was present to accept the award.
Since opening in 2016, Crooked Lane has won more than 40 awards, including Gold at the Great American Beer Festival and Brewery of the Year at the California Craft Brewers Cup. To learn more about Crooked Lane, visit crookedlanebrewing.com.
