Jessup University announced the purchase of over 400 acres of Clover Valley, a nature preserve that remains one of the last undeveloped ecosystems of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The purchase is the second step in permanently protecting Placer County's only significant open space in Rocklin, 25 miles north of Sacramento.The growing university made the purchase through investments of Placer County, the City of Lincoln, and the Emigrant Trails Greenway Trust.
