Join the Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra (SCSO) and Music Director, Donald Kendrick, for a spectacular celebration of #WorldOperaDay. On Saturday, Oct 28th at 7:30 pm, experience a stunning live performance of "Stained Glass: Music of the Spheres" featuring a large SCSO Chamber Ensemble, world-class soloists, organist, and musicians performing jubilant works by Handel, Vivaldi, Zelenka, Gjeilo, and Forrest.
ABOUT WORLD OPERA DAY:
#WorldOperaDay is an international initiative to showcase how singers and artists enrich their communities' livelihood and civic fabric. World Opera Day (worldoperaday.com) is held annually on October 25th, just a few days before the SCSO’s season opener, Stained Glass.
