The City of Sacramento relaunches Shop 916 gift card promotion for holiday shopping and gift giving
Double the joy with the special promo of buy a gift card, get a bonus gift card and shop at over 100 Sacramento businesses
The electronic gift card, launched by the City in December 2021, is a program that supports local storefront retailers negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Shop 916 gift card can be used at any participating business within the city.
The promotional offer features:
- Buy a $25 gift card and get a $10 bonus gift card for free
- Buy a $50 gift card and get a $25 bonus gift card for free
- Buy a $100 gift card and get a $50 bonus gift card for free
This promotional offer is available Nov. 15 through Feb. 15, 2024, and the bonus gift cards must be used by March 31, 2024.
Bonus cards are limited to five per purchaser. Regular consumer-purchased gift cards do not expire. Gift cards are purchased through the City’s website at shop916local.com.
