CALIFORNIA’S INSURANCE MARKET & ITS IMPACT ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING
WHAT: Senator Ted Gaines (Ret.), Vice Chair of the State Board of Equalization, is leading an informational hearing on how California’s skyrocketing insurance premiums threaten affordable housing. Across the state, insurance carriers are either doubling insurance rates, dropping homeowners’ policies, or leaving the state entirely.
