A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Saturday (May 18), according to the United States Geological Survey.

The natural disaster was reported to be centered in Tomioka with a 35.4 kilometer (about 30 miles) depth. The USGS said it received two reports of residents having felt the earthquake at the time of publication Saturday afternoon.

The California earthquake struck hours after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Puerto Rico on Tuesday (May 14), according to the United States Geological Survey. The natural disaster was reported to be centered in San Antonio with a 7.0 kilometer (about 4.4 miles) depth.

The Puerto Rico earthquake was reported hours after a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia on Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The natural disaster was reported to be centered on the Gili Trawangan island with a 28.3 kilometer (about 17.58 miles) depth.
