IT MUST BE SUMMER: WILDFIRES AND SHARK ATTACKS ARE LEADING NEWSCASTS
ALEX STONE, ABC NEWS CORRESPONDENT
A shark attack is keeping some Southern California beaches closed today. Swimming and surfing isn't allowed within a mile each way of where it happened in San Diego's County's Del Mar. A 46-year-old man was with a dozen others yesterday for their usual training when a shark bit him several times about 100 yards off shore. Officials say while the injures are significant he is expected to pull through. The beaches will reopen tomorrow morning.
