Artist Janine Mapurunga is excited to share a selection of images that she captured as part of the utility box wraps and banners public art project along Bruceville Road in Sacramento. You are welcome to join us for the artist reception and celebration of "Well Together: Portraits of Community" on Friday, June 21st, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Sam and Bonnie Pannell Community Center, 2450 Meadowview Rd, Sacramento, CA 95832.
"Well Together: Portraits of Community" highlights the diverse and vibrant communities in the district and in all of Sacramento. Come out to celebrate this series of photographs and the many South Sacramento residents who inspired them. This event is wheelchair accessible.
A documentary and full-color book are also in the works.
