FieldHaven Feline Center in Crisis Mode: Asking for Help After Multiple Emergency Intakes
Lincoln, CA – In the past week multiple urgent situations has forced FieldHaven Feline Center to go above and beyond, and now, as they reach crisis mode, they are asking the community for help.
Here’s what is needed to help:
1. Become a foster caregiver, opening your heart and home temporarily to a cat or kitten in need. Sign up here.
1. Donate supplies. Specifically, folding crates, playpens, small and medium carriers, puppy pads, heating disks, kitten and cat food (canned and dry, any brands), and pet bedding. All the supplies can be found on their Amazon wishlist at this link and can be delivered to their primary location at 2754 Ironwood Lane, Lincoln, CA 95648.
Smith also mention one other challenge—the backup of spay/neuter in not just their medical clinic, but across the region. “We have more than 100 kittens waiting for spay/neuter, and we are booked through the end of the year. We’re working as fast as we can, but if there are any veterinarians out there, or if any of you can talk to your personal veterinarians about donating a few spay/neuter surgeries a week, that would be a huge help!”

Lastly, if you’ve been considering adding to your family, FieldHaven has reduced adoption fees to half as they try to move cats into loving homes to make room for these many new ones. The half-off fees are only good through Sunday, October 27, but there are many adorable cats and kittens to choose from.
