I am writing to personally apologize for the unreliable scheduling of our SHS inaugural trivia event. Unfortunately, due to another rainy weather forecast, we are postponing trivia night until mid-April. We are trying our best to ensure that this will not happen again. By pushing the event to a Wednesday evening in mid-April, we hope to have a higher probability of accurate weather predictability and a warmer evening as well.
We will announce a new date for trivia night after April 1st, when we have a much higher probability of good weather conditions. We will definitely be holding the event in mid-April.
To those of you who purchased tickets, you may request a refund or retain your tickets for the new date in April. Please contact sacramentohistoricalsociety@gmail.com if you would like a refund.
Again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience that this "weather delay" has caused, and fully understand if you decide to cancel.
