RACE FOR THE ARTS PREMIER EVENT “OFF TO THE RACES” CELEBRATES THE CULINARY ARTS
Race for the Arts celebrates the culinary arts with its premier event, “Off to the Races”, a food & wine tasting. Delectable tastings from Hawks Public House, Mulvaney’s B&L, Bennett’s, Prelude Kitchen & Bar, The Chew BBQ, Thai Hut, Betty Kitchen & Bar & more. This is a juried food & wine tasting with the prestigious Judges: David Berkley, Rick Minderman, Benjy Engel and Carla Meyer. There will be a Judges’ Award given along with a People’s Choice Award. Guests will be treated to entertainment by El Dorado Musical Theater’s High Velocity. Guests will unwind and capture the essence of the Arts. A special door prize from Hobrecht Lighting, a beautiful Tiffany Lamp, will be given away.
Grab your running shoes and come out for the 26th Annual Race for the Arts 5K Run/Walk, Kids’ Fun Runs & Free Arts Festival on Saturday, August 23 at Wm Land Park. Art and Exercise – what could be better!!
CELEBRATING 26 YEARS!!! Run, walk, or come out and cheer at the 26th Annual Race for the Arts in Sacramento’s beautiful, shady, and scenic William Land Park. Come out for the 5K & Kids Fun Runs and stay for the free Arts Festival. Runners/Walkers receive a Race for the Arts T-shirt, Finisher’s Medal and complimentary food sampling.
*Please note that Pledges are separate from the entry fee. You can make Pledges in any amount to your designated nonprofit California visual, cultural, performing, culinary, literary arts organization or school program. They receive 100% of the Pledges designated to them on the Pledge Form.
