When it comes to housing, one of the biggest challenges to affordability is high government fees. The BIA has commissioned a study, Sacramento Region Multi-Jurisdictional Development Impact Fee Comparison, prepared by Economic & Planning Systems, Inc., a respected consulting firm that serves both local governments and the building industry.
