Effie Yeaw Nature Center Celebrates 50 Years

We are celebrating a half-century of connecting people of all ages with the natural beauty and wildlife of Sacramento. Throughout 2025, the center is marking this golden milestone with special events, educational programs for families and schools, guided nature walks along the American River, and community programs. We are also preparing the for the next 50 years for improvements to our center and animal enclosures.
