  1. An investigation is underway after more than a dozen migrants from South America were taken to the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento by a private plane. Attorney General Rob Bonta says he is considering criminal charges, if they can track down who sent them here. Click here to read more.
  2. Longshoremen who fill in daily positions are not showing up for work at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Union workers are striking over failed negotiations. No trucks will be headed into or out of the Long Beach port, which is the largest terminal in Long Beach. This is part of a bigger trend seen across the West Coast today. Click here to read more.
  3. For only the 2nd time in the last century, a rare endangered species, a wolverine, has been spotted in California. It is estimated that there are currently only 300 wolverines in the U.S. Click here to read more.
  4. Allstate is no longer offering home, commercial or condo insurance in California, telling the New York Times the worsening climate and higher building costs led to the decision. But, Allstate told the Times it stopped offering these policies in California last year. Click here to read more.
