  1. State officials said they are putting a pause to the school vaccine mandate. The California Department of Public Health made the announcement yesterday, adding the vaccine requirement for schools will not take effect until July of next year.
  2. The personal belief exemption to the COVID vaccine is paused for now. It would have not allowed one's personal beliefs get in the way of receiving a vaccine that is meant to prevent COVID-19. 
  3. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation held a public hearing about the expansion of the credit making system that allows inmates to qualify for early release. The purpose of the hearing yesterday was to expand the Good Conduct Credits program for inmates.
